What are Paid Results?

Paid results are advertisements that have been added to the results page. Advertisers bid on certain keywords via Google Ads in order to put their information on these pages. They’ll show with an Ad icon, which denotes it is a paid result.

Where does the information from Paid Results come from?

Paid Results information comes from advertisers who think their content relates to a specific set of keywords. The highest bidder of these ad-words gets the top ad position. For some searches, ads can be found at both the top and bottom of the results page.

How to use this parsed SERP feature:

Use this data to know which of your competitors are bidding for ads and the keywords they are bidding for. Traject Data parses all ads found in the SERP, even when present at the bottom of the page. The JSON calls out if it was a ‘top’ or ‘bottom’ ad.
